  • 4. Provide First Aid for Common Pediatric Injuries:
  • o Treat wounds, burns, fractures, sprains, and other injuries commonly affecting children.
  • o Manage head injuries, eye injuries, and nosebleeds effectively and safely.
  • o Provide immediate care for poisoning, including ingestion of hazardous substances.
  • 5. Respond to Pediatric Medical Conditions:
  • o Recognize the signs of common medical conditions in children, such as asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, and allergic reactions.
  • o Administer appropriate first aid for medical conditions like anaphylaxis and asthma attacks, including the use of epinephrine auto-injectors.

  • o Implement safety measures to prevent accidents in homes, schools, and childcare settings.
  • o Conduct risk assessments in environments where children are present, identifying potential hazards and mitigating risks.
