Requirements

  • Age Requirement: Need to be at least 17 years old when the program begins.
  • Language Proficiency: Good English skills are essential. They should be comfortable communicating in English to engage effectively with course materials, teachers, and fellow students.
  • Identification Documents: Must have valid identification documents, like an ID card or passport, ready during the application process.
  • Maltese as a Foreign Language MQF Level 1 Certificate.
  • Digital Skills: Basic knowledge of using smartphones and computers is important.

Target Audience

  • After the successful completion of Maltese as a Foreign Language MQF Level 1 course, this programme is designed for the participants who would like to progress further in learning the Maltese language. The course will provide the participants with more detailed and advanced lessons regarding Maltese language and culture. Real life scenarios will support the participants to improve their listening and speaking skills. They will build more confidence in expressing their thoughts and emotions using Maltese language. The participants will develop the four language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing) up to Level A2 of the CEFR.
